It came as a complete surprise to me, but apparently Arizona just left behind the Frye Standard for expert testimony, and adopted the Daubert Standard. See the recently signed into law Arizona SB 1189.
What it means is that expert witnesses, scientists and other witnesses giving opinion based testimony of a technical nature, will be held to a higher degree of scrutiny. It will also give judges more defined standards for what types of testimony to allow into trial.
