Experiment: Shotgun Shooting

A friend of mine at a local police depart­ment had an inter­est­ing case a while back.

The ques­tion came up as to whether it was a homi­cide or a sui­cide. Most of the evi­dence sup­ported a sui­cide, but the shot­gun used in the shoot­ing was found many feet from the vehi­cle where the shoot­ing took place.
