Massachusetts State Police lab col­lect and store DNA pro­files they shouldn’t be allowed to. This is an inher­ent prob­lem with data­bases that col­lect per­sonal infor­ma­tion, when there is no over­sight. The police can store infor­ma­tion they are not sup­posed to.
